
Education in Guadalajara is a major factor for development. Education is not totally free, but offers many benefits such as scholarships to students from low-income, the pre-school education has three grades, the elementary school has six grades, junior high has three grades and high school had 3 grades.
Guadalajara has different universities with international prestige; Guadalajara has the first private university in Mexico, the Autonomous University of Guadalajara.
Bogotá has a comprehensive education system, such as Guadalajara. Bogota's education is insufficient compared with that of Guadalajara. Bogotá has a diverse system of colleges and private schools, while Guadalajara has more public schools. Grades in pre-school, elementary school, junior-high and high-school are the same in the two cities.Bogotá’s universities are more sophisticated and technological while Guadalajara's universities are oldest and less attractive than Bogotá. In Guadalajara education is more efficient than in Bogotá. Bogota's universities are recenter than Guadalajara's universities.
